Bad, Blade, and England: an stea for a game cafes Jeu fureraor somethinWe that thase something Ske that 2 It would be something of a combination between these 2 games SSASSIN REREED BLACK FLAG t+ It would be a open world on a huge map focussed on the carribean sea but also extending far north and south. The map would be dotted with forts, villages, coves, hide-outs, outposts, unexplored islands Some parts of the map are dangerous and lawless whilst other parts are ruled by one of the main factions (Spain, Holland, England, Portugal, and France) and are relatively safe fas long as you're not at open war with them) There would be roam for minor factions as well as well as a big influence from powerful merchant companies like the Dutch East- ld be similar to that of games lke Mount and Blade, where it is entirely up to the player what you would like to do. There are missions and assignments gpiven to you by NPC' factions, traders, etc. But there is pienty to do without getting specific missions. For example, players could heavily rely on trading goods between specific settlements (either legally or through smuggling which would be more profitable at a higher fisk of confiscation, escorting trading ships, bounity hunting pirates become an exotic wildlife hunter/collector (hunt legendary sea creatures for massive loot), or sail under the flag of a main faction and be called up for war! There would also be alat of room for tweaking [I lave tweaking). What I mean by that is that players should be able to have full control over the assembly of their crew and ship[s). My idea would be that crew members would have to be hired individually from settlements based on the skils that you need at your ship. Crew members have skills and can level up during the course of the game and there would be various crew classes such as rower helmsman, cannoneer, look out, navigator, etc. Some classes will be more rare than others and there would also be legendary crew members that can greatly boost your ship's performance or provide other bonuses leg a legendary smuggler who can get you 20% better profits, or a great cannoneer who reduces reload time by 25%, or how about an excellent navigator who increases ship speed and maneuverability by 15%). AND OF COURSE SHANTY SINGERS Your crew needs good equipment as well. Not just good fighting gear for when it comes down to it, but also good rations for morale or good oars for There should also be a wide variety of customization available for your ships), obviously everything costs gold and some things can only be done by master crafters. A big factor should be your reputation, if you start doing bad things t'll be harder to consolidate those and yau'll start going towards a pirate pathway. I would say no fast- travel, supplies and rations (upkeep basicaly) are a significant burden, weather can really screw you up and damage your ship. Repairs are neither cheap noe completed instantly, and if you side with a losing faction you're going to get battered Anyway, these are just my ideas. I have no computer skilis (as you can see i made this post in Paint) but I think I would never see the light of day again if this game would come out Looking at the early success of Sea of Thieves, the nostalgi love for AC Black Flag, and the hype for Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlords, think a game like this would be very successtul What do you all think?
