Man destroys Ten Commandments statue in Arkansas Capitol - the day after it was installed. On Tuesday, a statue of the Ten Commandments was installed at the Arkansas Capitol grounds. Less than a day later, it had been run over by a car and destroyed. 32-year-old Michael Reed, with a history of mental illness, wrote on his Facebook page: “One thing I do not support is the violation of our Constitutional right to have the freedom that’s guarantees us separation of church and state because no one religion should the government represent. So … back at it again… so if you’re in support of this, you can talk about it using the hashtag checkmate, and also I’m using my own car that I paid for.” By the way, it’s the second time this insane liberal is destroying Christian monument. He has previously been accused of vandalizing a similar monument in Oklahoma. It’s clear that only a totally brainwashed by a cynic liberal media man was able to do something like that. However, even when these radical atheists are doing their best to destroy everything connected with Christianity, their actions show American people that it’s just a group of ill-minded atheists with no future, whereas core Christian values will always be in demand in our country. People don’t know this but this country was founded on SECULAR (this doesn’t mean atheist this just means separation of church and state) values but the irony is that republicans who want to instill Christian values into the government love the founding fathers, well … Most of the founding fathers were extremely hostile towards Christianity, many were deists, and some were arguably atheists. All were for separation of church and state. Yet republicans and conservatives love to mention the founding fathers who would be rolling in their graves if they knew that republicans have been trying for decades to make this country a theocracy. They’re succeeding if you consider the restriction on abortion, the bush era restrictions of stem cell research, the fight in many southern states to teach evolution, and gays STILL after the Supreme Court ruled in their favor having trouble getting married… The list goes on and on and on.: Neil deGrasse Tyson O @neiltyson #WhenMyParentsWereYourAge "In God We Trust" was neither on our money, the Pledge of Allegiance, or the front wall of Congress 10/5/15, 6:18 PM 1,473 RETWEETS 2,425 FAVORITES People don’t know this but this country was founded on SECULAR (this doesn’t mean atheist this just means separation of church and state) values but the irony is that republicans who want to instill Christian values into the government love the founding fathers, well … Most of the founding fathers were extremely hostile towards Christianity, many were deists, and some were arguably atheists.
