Memes, Cracked, and Death: Jurors Recommend The Death Penalty For Man Who Tortured and Murdered His Girlfriend's 8-Year-Old Son @balleralert Jurors Recommend The Death Penalty For Man Who Tortured and Murdered His Girlfriend’s 8-Year-Old Son - blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last month, 37-year-old Isauro Aguirre was convicted of first-degree murder, four years after his girlfriend’s 8-year-old son died from repeated abuse. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Gabriel Fernandez was found inside his Palmdale home on May 22, 2013, with a cracked skull, broken ribs, burned skin, missing teeth and BB gun pellets in his groin area, LA Times reports. During Aguirre’s trial, prosecutors detailed the abuse Fernandez suffered at the hands of his mother and her boyfriend, Aguirre. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Fernandez was forced to eat cat feces and his own throw-up. The couple also made the young boy sleep in a cabinet with his hands and ankles bound. Prosecutors also revealed Fernandez was punched in the face so hard that it tore the skin from his chin and nose. Two days after officials found Fernandez in the home, the little boy died from his injuries. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On Wednesday, Aguirre’s penalty for his conviction was read before the court. Although the defense asked for a less severe sentence, as Aguirre suffers from a learning disability, the jurors voted on the death penalty for the brutal murder and torture of Gabriel Fernandez. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to the LATimes, Fernandez’s case also led to criminal charges against L.A. County social workers, since they left Fernandez at the home after six investigations into abuse involving his mother, who is also charged with murder.

Bad, Be Like, and Beautiful: MENTOR CONQUER FROM ITHIN. The world we live in can be harsh, full of anger, fear, doubt, pain and sadness. On the other hand, it can be a beautiful world full of hope, peace, happiness and life. But sometimes it is hard to find the light at the end of the tunnel. No matter what age, race or gender, the world can bite down hard on our delicate skin. It is hard to fight what is around us because some things are just out of our control. So why do we continue to fight things we cannot change? Why fight the world when it will just fight back 10 times harder? Why fight a battle that will leave us weak even if we win? Maybe we shouldn’t be fighting people, ideas or the world. Maybe there is something inside of us that we should be fighting. - No one can fully control their emotions, however, we can shape the way we think. Why look at the world in a negative way? Why only focus on the bad? Why expect the worst in people? It is difficult to exist in a place where people focus more on what is around them than what is inside of them. If we cannot shape the harshness inside of us, how can we expect the world around us to change?🤔 Conquer from within. Conquer those demons that are haunting you. Whether it be jealousy, hatred, anger or fear, you can win this inner battle. By focusing energy on these internal issues, we can conquer the emotions that make this world so harsh for us to live in. You cannot change people, so why bother trying? Focus on making yourself the person you wish the rest of the world could be like. 😉 - CONQUER life success millionairementor

Facebook, Friends, and Jealous: Woman Brutally Beaten by Jealous Husband For Every Facebook Like She Received on Her Photos; Forced to Undergo Reconstructive Surgery @balleralert Matt Roper Woman Brutally Beaten by Jealous Husband For Every Facebook Like She Received on Her Photos; Forced to Undergo Reconstructive Surgery-blogged by @thereal__bee ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ A woman was forced to undergo reconstructive surgery on her face after her husband beat her for every Facebook 'like' she received. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ 21-year-old Adolfina Camelli Ortigoza was rescued last week after being held captive in her home by her husband, Pedro Heriberto Galeano. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ According to police, Galeano beat the young woman on a regular basis. When she was picked up by authorities, her face was said to be completely disfigured from a series of brutal attacks. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ The woman's lawyer claimed Tuesday that 32-year-old Galeano would go into a jealous rage when anyone liked his wife’s photos on Facebook. As punishment, he began to beat her for every like she received on her posts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Galeano also took over her Facebook page, posting photos of her, and continuing to beat her whenever people reacted to the photos. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Lawyer Arnaldo Martinez expressed that Ortigoza was fearful of getting a notification because she knew it would result in a beating. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ The victim also kept the matter to herself, as her friends had no clue that any of this was taking place. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Martinez said: "Her mouth was all broken, she was very damaged, her skin was hanging off because of the blows. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ "He controlled the victim's social networking sites, he controlled the messages and photos, and for every 'like' she received from her friends, the woman received a beating because he accused her of having a relationship with them." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Martinez said the only thing that saved the victim’s teeth was that "he would put a cloth in her mouth so that she would not scream during the brutal beatings that she suffered daily." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Galeano’s father reported his son to the police after he believed the woman would die from the last attack. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Ortigoza underwent reconstruction operations on the nasal septum and lips. Galeano was charged with attempted homicide, deprivation of liberty and coercion, which carry a maximum penalty of 30 years.

Children, Goals, and Lawyer: Phaedra Parks Announces New Modeling Career; Signs With Wilhelmina Models @balleralert Phaedra Parks Announces New Modeling Career; Signs With Wilhelmina Models- blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Since being dismissed from the cast of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” PhaedraParks has added a new gig to her longstanding career in the industry. According to Us Weekly, the lawyer-turned-reality star-turned mortician has now kicked off her career as a model. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The publication caught up with the newly named Wilhelmina model to discuss her new career move, her body, and her goals and inspirations. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “I think I’m the face of ‘yes you can,’” Parks told the publication. “I’m a small town girl who has followed her dreams. Yes you can be a mom, yes you can be a lawyer and yes you can be a model. When the opportunity presented itself some people asked me ‘Why?’ and I said ‘Why not?’ A supermodel started this company and she wanted to give the power back to the women and I think I stand for the same things. I have the opportunity to show people that beauty can come in every size, shade, color, and age. It’s exciting and an adventure.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Parks then went on to discuss how she felt about representing an “under-served market,” where she explained that in this time, “women need to be empowered to stand in their truth, to be different, dare to be diverse and stand up in times of controversy.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When it comes to the particular campaigns she wants to focus on, the mother-of-two explained that she would love to be the face of a skincare or cosmetic line. However, she doesn’t mind showing some skin for the camera. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “I don’t mind baring it all, I have been wearing g-strings and baring it all really every season for seven years. I had two children on national TV. I love nudity! I’ve bought a lot of exotic entertainers on the show, so I love my body and I’ve got curves. I’m a mother of two, so I’m not perfect, but I have no problem getting naked.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As things turn around in her life, from her being fired to her divorce, Parks has finally started to be happy with who she is. And now she believes, she is getting better with time.
