Advice, Community, and Cute: Wrist Exerc Cheat-Sheet This is an advice I want to give everyone in the Splatoon Community (and also gamers, programmers and artists alike): To prevent weakness, soreness or even injury make sure to exercise your hands and wrists properly before playing! This will only take a quick minute or two but could make a huge difference and helps keeping your hands and wrists healthy and flexible. Sad Italian! Splatted Salt Shaker! Vou can use your second hand for additional stretching! gtop! Zombies! Flop-Flop! Defeat? Squeeze! Do Squids have fingernails? |These exercises should not be done by people with inflammation or serious joint damage unless recommended by a healthcare professional This sheet was illustrated by @CaptainHanyuu. Special thanks to Burnburnss and Kurage-Splatoon! jumpingjacktrash: blarghnessrawr: jvk-illustrations: I drew a quick chart about good wrist and finger exercise before playing Splatoon (or engaging in any other intense activity such as but not limited to gaming in general, programming, drawing, computer work etc.)As with all stretching exercise, these should only be done in moderate speed. You only want to loosen up, not break your hands!!… and it kinda exploded on twitter haha This is a good thing to have explode anywhere. I did some of these and my wrist felt a ton better. I do a lot of typing and repetitive motions at work (need to do more drawing) but my right wrist is always JACKED. This is such a cute and great guide for exercises all in one place! i write my first drafts longhand with a fountain pen. great for creativity (can’t backspace with a pen, and colorful ink makes everything better!) but hard on the hand. i’ve been doing some things sort of like this but it’s nice to have a reference sheet. i bet these would be good for avoiding knitting cramps too.

Memes, Respect, and Slick: 1312 SQ VETERAN Thank you. We Are Veterans - We've been called Grunts and Jarheads, Squids and Swabbies, Fly boys and G.I. These were not derogatory terms. These were term of endearment and respect between us. We were Trackers, Tankers, Artillery and Gunners, Fuelers, Mechanics, Pilots and Drivers. Some have seen the horrors of war, while others served between conflicts. There are those who have never heard a shot fired in anger, while others have had those angry shots fired at them. Stories of the scars are proclaimed loudly by some and talked about in muted conversation by others. There are those who have put it all behind them and those who wish they could forget and that the nightmares would stop. Whether their breast is covered with "fruit salad" or a single ribbon bar, the crossed rifles of an expert or the "toilet bowl" of a beginner. Our uniforms were all different. We had greens, blues, whites and cracker jacks. We either wore stripes or bars. Some had rockers while occasionally we seen a "slick sleeve" standing in fear a SGT Major with eight hash marks. Their epaulets were adorned with everything from "butter bars" to glistening in the sun with four stars - It don't matter in which branch they chose to serve, despite their MOS, whether or not they shed their blood for a cause greater than themselves, they (we) all share one common title, VETERAN. The eleventh day of the eleven month is set aside to honor those who have served. Those who answered a calling that not all have heard. Those who would lay down their lives if that is what it took - Those who wore a uniform that looked like the one worn by thousands of others before and after them. If you answered the call, wore the uniform, stood tall during colors and still shed a tear during the National Anthem, may I join millions of other Americans on this day and say, Thank You and Happy Veterans Day.
