Head, Tumblr, and Vine: Rose Quartz Shield Tutorial! Easy, Cheap, Lightweight, and Fast From Makelovely Cosplay -TRUSTED QUALITY SINCE 192 RUSTOLEUM ULTRA COVER FLAT WHITE PRIMER TIGHT BOND FOR A TOPr OGEST LASTING ALSO BONDS TO のritz 1" x 2.5 yds (254 m" x22 WOOD, METAL & MORE 400 NET Materials: The key ingredient behind this magical project are these! Drum head covers are super lightweight easily painted, and come in a big range of sizes. Plus, they're pretty much the perfect shape for a round shield, and they're pretty cheap too! You'll also need - Primer(I swear by Rustoleum's 2X Ultra Cover for plastic, but whatever sticks to plastic is good!) &Spray paint -Elastic E6000 -A bunch of paper An exacto knife -Acrylic paints & paint brushes -Some sort of sealant n between coats: Map out your design! started with a bunch of pieces of paper taped together and traced the outline of First up: Prime your drum head (2 coats just in case!) and spray paint your color of choice (2 coats again!) l used Valspar's Gloss in Frosty Berry. I'm not super fond of it, but tro was the right color and I had it on hand! tit the drum head. The design itself was mostly free handed, but it did take a little trial and error before I got it just right. Trace this over with marker to make for easier cutting This is the most tedious part: tracing the design onto your shield! I cut mine out piece by piece, starting with the gem design, then the thorns, and then the vine. Just line everything up with what you've already traced as you go! Be careful at the edges! Since they're sloped, they might need a little alteration from your original lines. Now just paint all your traced designs in with acrylics (mine took 2 coats for the darker colors and 3 for the white) and give your shield a good clear coat to protect from chipping! For carrying, I used some E6000 to attach some elastic straps. You wanna glue the crap out of these things, put plenty underneath and some on top (it'll soak into the elastic) just in case! I used one big strap for my arm, and I held onto the smaller one, and it was pretty comfy all day Now get out there and defend the earth makelovelycosplay: Here’s how I made my Rose Quartz shield! It’s real easy and should work pretty well for any sort of round shield. Feel free to message me if you have any questions!

College, Crime, and Fake: coolhotdad my perfect crime? I memorize the entirety of the macy's store inventory. I then go on aliexpress.com and find exact replicas of every single purse in the store. I break in at 3am, and replace every purse with a cheaper version of the purse. I take my real purses home and open up an online store on the darknet featuring fake purses. I then sell these real purses as fake purses, making it so that when the feds catch on to my antics, they spend countless years trying to figure out who can replicate purses this well, and who is selling them. Soon an entire division of the FBl is dedicated to finding me and figuring out how my "fake" purses appear to be real. 45 years later they finally trace my ip address and break into my villa in texas and shoot me right in the leg when i attempt to flee While this would normally not be a fatal wound, due to my constant devotion to my online fake real purse storefront i have suffered an iron deficiency for 35 years. My blood can't clot and I start to bleed out. Turns out the woman who shot me was a girl who i made out with once in college, and she holds my dying body in her arms and asks me how my fake purses were so real. I spend the last moments of my fleeting life telling her about how every five years i break into a different Macy's and replace all the purses, and that the purses I have been selling online for a severely discounted price were actually all real, and I have been doing this purely for the gag of it all. When my former college girlfriend gets home from work after rightfully murdering me for my crimes, she goes into her walk in closet, looks at the 13 gucci purses she owns, and realizes that they're all fakes. Interhouse unity could fuck off was the last thought that went through Harry’s mind when he went to break Malfoy’s perfect nose. He’d had enough, enough sneering, enough taunting, enough cheating during their damn seeker’s games which! Harry was only doing because he was bored and couldn’t play and fuck if Malfoy wasn’t the only one in the school good enough to even keep up. But he was done. He didn’t break his goddamn nose which was a shame, only grazed the prat’s cheek and got him once in the stomach which made Malfoy wheeze in a very satisfying manner. Before he cracked the back of his head into Harry’s jaw and tried to punch Harry back, missing and hitting his ear, which Harry learned was intensely painful. They had ended up in a tangled heap of rage on the floor, eventually separated by an irate Headmistress McGonagall who informed them that they had two choices, two weeks of detentions with Filch or they could hold hands for an hour. Harry was very tempted to take the detention but the look of inordinate glee on Finch’s face changed his mind. Apparently, it had the same effect on Malfoy because now they were stuck, side by side in two chairs in the middle of the Great Hall, holding hands. A great many of their classmates were gathered around gleefully watching. Seamus was already taking bets on if they could last the hour. Most of the bets were on how they would snap and end up viciously assaulting each other. Harry took a deep breath and refused to look at anyone. It was just an hour. He could manage an hour. Malfoy was even being decent for once, covering his face with his hand and staying still and silent, just waiting for the storm of humiliation to pass overhead. Five minutes passed, then ten, fifteen and then twenty and nothing happened. A lot of the crowd dispersed, muttering and bored, leaving only the dedicated few who had money riding on the outcome. Harry dropped his head into the crook of his elbow wishing he could take a nap or even study, he’d have rather done almost anything than hold Malfoy’s hand. In the dark of his arm, his senses gently refocused, on his breathing and the gentle thrum of his own heart and then on Malfoy’s hand. It was strange how easy it was to hold the other bloke’s hand. For some reason, he had been expecting it to be unpleasant, slimy or sweaty or just, something but it was almost… nice. Malfoy’s hand was smooth and cool and his fingers were long and well shaped. Harry startled as he realized he had shifted his grip to lace their fingers together. He felt Malfoy stiffen and go still. Harry lifted his head and glanced out of the corner of his eye at the other boy. He hadn’t moved but his breathing seemed uneven. Harry’s own heart seemed to be beating too fast suddenly and he felt almost shaky. He closed his eyes again, a thrum of anxiety slipping under his skin. His hand loosened and slipped down so he could run his thumb across the inside of Malfoy’s wrist. He traced the prominent bones, the warmer skin that was almost silky across the pad of his thumb. He swallowed hard feeling like he was going barmy and unable to stop himself. Malfoy’s fingers tightened around his. Harry jumped as he felt Malfoy squeeze, pulling their hands tight together, his thumb sliding along the outside of Harry’s finger, tracing the web between his thumb, their thumbs meeting and then Malfoy’s thumb traced across his palm. Harry’s head jerked up and he stared at Malfoy, his whole body tensed and flushed. Malfoy’s hair swung down to cover his eyes but Harry could see the flush of color on his cheeks. He squeezed Malfoy’s hand tight, his fingers shaking with adrenaline. Malfoy finally broke from covering his face, looked over at Harry with eyes dilated and bit his bottom lip making it bloom pink. Harry’s breath caught in his throat and he licked his lips. “Fuck you, Potter,” Malfoy growled, gripping Harry’s hand so tight it hurt. He stood, jerking Harry up, clasping a hand behind his neck and pulling him into a bruising kiss. Harry shuddered his hand clutching Malfoy’s robe. The scent of Malfoy filling his nose, strange and yet unbearably familiar. Malfoy was warm under his hand. “Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus,” Malfoy hissed as he pulled away. Harry stared into grey eyes, licked his lips and slid his arm tight around Malfoy’s waist, pulling him tight against himself and kissing him back with a hungry desperation. “Well, that isn’t quite how I imagined that working out,” McGonagall said gravely. Harry jumped and pulled away suddenly and acutely aware of all the students around them, staring in open-mouthed shock. He felt his face get hot with embarrassment. Malfoy smirked and lifted their linked hands, “We haven’t let go.” Hermione nudged Seamus, “Pay up.” Oh my god I never knew how desperately I needed this This is literally one of the best things ever in my life ever ever

Being Alone, America, and Anaconda: dna-today: When DNA ancestry contradicts your identity. With the discovery of DNA more the 145 years ago and the vastly advancing research of DNA since then, we now have access to incredible information at our fingertips. One of the more trending services offered online is the invitation to discover the details of our DNA ancestry and origins. It sounds very thrilling and exciting to be able to look into our genetic history that we can’t trace in any other way through living or deceased relatives. But is it always a pleasant surprise and is it always all it promises to be? Just yesterday, SBS news reporter Janice Petersen, published her personal experience of trying out an ancestry DNA test. It revealed a lot of information, some of which seemed obvious according to what she personally knows from family history and stories, and some of which just seemed completely random and unexpected. And she is not alone. In reality, most people planning to try a DNA ancestry test actually already have high and particular expectations going in. They have most likely talked to several of their family members, accumulating a general family history, and believe that this test will just solidify that information. And then when the results arrive, numbers don’t quite add up. It is important to remember that over the past few decades, travel within the same continents and between them became a reality! Just 100 years ago most of this travel would not have been possible and now we talk about flying to Europe from America as if it was just a bike ride away. According to the World Tourism Organization, UNWTO, in 2014 the number of international tourists was 1,138 million (that‘s right, check how many zeros that is)! And that’s the people who counted as overnight visitors. When it comes to actual migrations, according to UN statistics, the number of international migrants reached 244 million in 2015 which was a 41% increase compared to just 15 years earlier. The point is that with millions and millions of people travelling and more permanently relocating from their country of birth to wherever they may please on a daily basis, is it really surprising that your recent family history might not actually match your more historic origins? After all, we only really know what we are told by our closest family and they only have a certain capacity of information as well. And knowing this information about our DNA – does it define us as a person and our habits and our likes and dislikes? If we like curry and turns out that more that 30% of our DNA is attributed to Northern Europe (like Sweden or Norway), does that mean that we have been living our lives wrong and liking the wrong things? Of course not! We are the individuals that we build ourselves to be over our lifetime and these tests and the information they provide should only be regarded as an entertaining analysis. Something to enhance our understanding of ourselves, not to make us doubtful of our choices and lifestyles. Something to create social connections with people from the other side of the world who we will probably never meet, but are genetically connected to. Something to celebrate and really feel like an integral part of the big and diverse world we live in. How do you feel about finding out more about your DNA ancestry?  Have you done a test and how did you feel about the results?  Share your stories and opinions! If you are considering doing a test, you might want to check out the ancestry DNA tests offered here.
