Head, Tumblr, and Vine: Rose Quartz Shield Tutorial! Easy, Cheap, Lightweight, and Fast From Makelovely Cosplay -TRUSTED QUALITY SINCE 192 RUSTOLEUM ULTRA COVER FLAT WHITE PRIMER TIGHT BOND FOR A TOPr OGEST LASTING ALSO BONDS TO のritz 1" x 2.5 yds (254 m" x22 WOOD, METAL & MORE 400 NET Materials: The key ingredient behind this magical project are these! Drum head covers are super lightweight easily painted, and come in a big range of sizes. Plus, they're pretty much the perfect shape for a round shield, and they're pretty cheap too! You'll also need - Primer(I swear by Rustoleum's 2X Ultra Cover for plastic, but whatever sticks to plastic is good!) &Spray paint -Elastic E6000 -A bunch of paper An exacto knife -Acrylic paints & paint brushes -Some sort of sealant n between coats: Map out your design! started with a bunch of pieces of paper taped together and traced the outline of First up: Prime your drum head (2 coats just in case!) and spray paint your color of choice (2 coats again!) l used Valspar's Gloss in Frosty Berry. I'm not super fond of it, but tro was the right color and I had it on hand! tit the drum head. The design itself was mostly free handed, but it did take a little trial and error before I got it just right. Trace this over with marker to make for easier cutting This is the most tedious part: tracing the design onto your shield! I cut mine out piece by piece, starting with the gem design, then the thorns, and then the vine. Just line everything up with what you've already traced as you go! Be careful at the edges! Since they're sloped, they might need a little alteration from your original lines. Now just paint all your traced designs in with acrylics (mine took 2 coats for the darker colors and 3 for the white) and give your shield a good clear coat to protect from chipping! For carrying, I used some E6000 to attach some elastic straps. You wanna glue the crap out of these things, put plenty underneath and some on top (it'll soak into the elastic) just in case! I used one big strap for my arm, and I held onto the smaller one, and it was pretty comfy all day Now get out there and defend the earth makelovelycosplay: Here’s how I made my Rose Quartz shield! It’s real easy and should work pretty well for any sort of round shield. Feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Click, Fucking, and Funny: N THE text in MSPa Do r rotate omegapausestuck: koobaxion: alphaplayfree: alienpapacy: you ever see an image and think “i may see something as funny as this again, but never anything funnier” ALL RIGHT YOU LITTLE SHITS GET READY TO LEARN SOMETHING yOU WANNA ROTATE TEXT?! well mod 5ider has got the fucking t r i c k s homie Step one: Type something. P E R F E C T. sTEP TWO: FIND THE RESIZE OPTION. You see that little resize button on your menu? Yeah, that’s the one. you can just click that shit! On older versions of MS Paint there isn’t this option, but you can always find it with a quick right-click. THERE IT FUCKING IS!!!!!  STEP THREE: STRETCH AND SKEW When you click resize, this menu comes up. I’m sure you all have seen this menu before, but for those who don’t, I’ll clue you in. The top options control the length and respective width of your artwork. you can choose to alter them separately, or all together Using that little “Maintain Aspect Ration” checkbox there, but that’s not important right now. wHat we’re focusing on is that skew option on the botttom. with that you can t i l t whatever image yuo have on your screen to the left to the right up and down. “BUT 5IDER!!!!!” you say, “THAT DOESN’T LOOK ROTATED AT ALL” wELL HOLD ON TO YOUR LUG NUTS BECAUSE I T ’ S T I M E F O R STEP 4: ULTRA COMBOOOOOOOO!!!!! now, comes the fun part. unlike its aspect ratio locked cousin, the stretch and skew options work independently from one another. So, you can do things like  and But that’s neither here nor there… what gets REALLY interesting is when your ratios are in opposite directions.. HOME RUN! Now, before I let you go, I found out through trial and error that an angle doesn’t exactly match up with its negative dimension… (Step 5: Angular ratios) See? there’s a little offset between vertical and horizontal if your expect your text to appear natural instead of tilted. The only places that this offset reaches zero is at 90° (of course) and the rare and extremely dangerous 45° rotations. Fortunately, I’ve already mapped out a few angles that I find are very useful in my works so, for your viewing pleasure… i present my handy dandy graph All you have to do is match up your desired angle up to its respective complement and you have quickly and efficiently rotated your first word in MS Paint. Have fun! You know, you guys really seemed to enjoy this post. Should I do more MS Paint tutorials in the future?

Lawyer, Love, and Shoes: the funniest thing in the entire pirates of one scene in At World's End where they have parlay but davy jones is part of it and rather then have him stand in thhe shallows or something they get a big bucket of water and have in stand on it who thought of that idea? who thought put davy jones in a bucket of water and had the guts to suggest aloud? and then who went "hey that sounds at some point someone toid davy janes bucket of water and he agreed to it tis ok but notice the trail of buckets behind before he got into the one hes standing It's even funnier when you consider how he must have figured all this out in the Some folic are asking wel, if he can avaid the no-dry-land curse simply by standing in a bucket, doesn't that ruin his whole motvation?" but he's not on The parley takes place on a sandbar the shore, that spends most of its time What Jones is doing here is rules- the trial and error he must have gone through in order to determine that this "Okay, do islands count as dry land? How about parts of the share below the high tide mark? Reefs? Shoas? What if Does it have to be seawater, ar will ay water do? Does it have to be a natural Pretty sure that this implies that the the water toig bucket with just a bit of sand), would quaify as dry land. That's absurd, so I'm pretty sure that his lawyer pulled a fast one over the curse It may be absurd, but the text of the fitm bears it out Davy Jones can sense the presence of his heart while it's a sea, but not whie it's on land indeed that's why he buried it on land in the first place to break his connection with it)-yet placing the heart n a simplo jar land does, aven ifth0 jar is a boat at filled with dirt absolutely count as dry land for the purpose of Jonescrse Then the reverse should aso be true. i he buried it in a jer of water, no matter how far inland it is, he would be able to senso it. So by this logia, any container a curse than it is to weasel around i-I figune that's why he's using multple forbidden to set foot on dry land, but it's technically not dry land (it's a exposed only at low tide) and he technicaly ddn't set foot on it thes standing in a bucker of wateri. It's ckay but this all raises one further, very dry land he's forbidden from, what can Davy Jones fight you in salt marshes? can he trow down in a pear This is the quality content I come to could he step ฉn land if his shoes are No matter how ridiculous PotC gets l will love it. Especially when it results in What it he crawis around on his hands and inees, with his teet raised slightly nto the air? Can he walk on his hands? Can he ride around in a litter or What if he flies over dry land? Like in a hot air baloon, or in the clews of a giant Whar it hes carried by two swaliows In fact im not entirely sure thalt it wasnt At Wit’s End

Alive, Journey, and Life: The Rules For Being Human 1. You will receive abody. You may love it or hate it, but it's yours for the entire time you're here, so accept it. 2. You will learn lessons. You will be enrolled in a full-time, informal school called LIFE, where you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. Like them or not, these lessons are specific to you and are the keys to discovering the meaning of your life. 3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error and experimentation. The "failed" experiments are just as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately "works." 4. A lesson is repeated until learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. Once you have learned it, you can move on to the next lesson. 5. Learning does not end. There is not a part of life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned. 6. "There" is not better than "here." When your "there" becomes "here, you will be tempted to fixate on a different "there" that will, again look better than "here. Learn to appreciate and enjoy what you have, and where you are on your journey. 7. Others are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself. 8. What you make of yourlife is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. 9. Your answers lie inside you. The answers to life's questions lie inside you. All you need to do is look, listen and trust. 10. You will forgetall this at birth. CHERIE CARTER-SCOTT THINK GROW PROSPER The rules for being human. 👌 Love this by @thinkgrowprosper
