Asian, Ass, and Baseball: My tow truck driver and his lil buddy. Pic: reddit u/Slowhand09 @DrSmashlove Aight. Two real quick follow-ups on my post about girls and sports (from Sunday.) First, I take back the comment about hairy armpits on women. Ladies - if u love yo natural body - I love it too. Or if u identify as a gender that doesnt match your biological sex (thank u to my lil homegirl for explaining this to me), I love u too. If u EVER come to this page and feel othered or ostracized, tell me! Its never my intent. Sometimes my lack of intellect and understanding translates the love in my heart into words that can be hurtful, and I ALWAYS expect yall to teach me and educate me so I can be a better man out here. Second, I implied that the prototypic female sports fan has a blond pony tail sticking out the back of her baseball cap. My extremely wise sister from another mister @tamashar quickly pointed out that shes a football fan and does not, in fact, have a blond pony tail. It is axiomatic that its sisters out here that love sports. The thing is, when I write, I imagine a story in my head, and I type it out and give it to yall. So I imagined a loud ass blond girl at a Wrigleyville bar in a faded cubs cap wearing her ex boyfriends oversized J Crew hoodie (that she kept because FVCK HIM ) barking loudly and drunkenly about her favorite (and least favorite) cubs players: OMG GET RID OF PEDRO STROP ALREADY HES SUCH A - *WHY* DOES MADDON PUT HIM IN - HE SUCKS - CAN I GET A STELLA OR WHAT I NEED A DRINKY - Oh shit Kelly - kyle texted me - gotta go lol cover my beer baby byeeeee < if u got a girl like this in yo squad, tag her . Anyway I never meant to exclude my sisters, my Latinas, my Asian home girls, etc - they all got ladies that will school u - smash is never exclusionary only inclusionary. Thats all I got. Now dont comment SMASH STOP APOLOGIZING - I dont do it to be politically correct! (scroll back and tell me if Ive EVER been politically correct ) - I make these statement to show GROWTH and I hope I never stop growing! Ive always been a grower bless up

America, Children, and Fire: Shaun King @ShaunKing Only in America can whiteness prevent the man who conducted the deadliest mass shooting in American history from being called a terrorist. 10/2/17, 8:01 AM li View Tweet activity 872 Retweets 1,446 Likes Note: This is being called the "deadliest mass shooting in US history." However, there have been several massacres of Native Americans by the US military and militias (Wounded Knee Massacre, Mountain Meadows Massacre in 1857, Tulsa Massacre in 1921, to name a few). The Wounded Knee Massacre was devastating about 250 Native Americans were killed by American troops in the late 1800s. Only one man faced prosecution for the Mountain Meadows Massacre, but it was actually a Mormon militia that killed 120 men, women and children. The Tulsa Massacre ended with about 300 people killed by mobs of white people. People say the shooting in Vegas was the deadliest mass shooting because a gunman opening fire on a public space is what "mass shooting" has come to mean these days. We don't tend to put massacres involving military or quasi-military actors and those perpetrated by a group in that category. Before the 20th century, few mass murders were perpetrated by a single person. TLDR: The definition has changed over time. Whether or not you want to use this definition, it's important to remember Native history and the horrible massacres of this time, while also understanding the context and scale of the most recent shooting in Las Vegas.

Beautiful, Children, and Ignorant: Let's Talk: How Important Is lt To Talk About Racism In Your Household? @balleralert Lets Talk: How Important Is It To Talk About Racism In Your Household? -blogged by @peachkyss With all thats going on in todays society from the increase in racially-charged hate crimes and black men, women and children being gunned down by police to being publicly disrespected by the celebrity-in-chief, Trump, its extremely important to discuss racism within your household. For years, racism wasnt discussed as often in households due to many not wanting to push the issue onto their children. Today, racism is so blatant, especially as its spewed directly from the White House, that it needs to be discussed with our children to prevent the worst case scenario. They need to have a clear understanding that there are some ignorant people in this world that will not respect them because of the color of their skin. They must understand that people will hate them and target them because of a little extra melanin. Many of us raise our children to love and respect others, but then you have some people that could care less how you or your children feel. Racism is not an inherited trait. It is a learned behavior that has been pushed onto children at a young age. Children dont just start hating other races, they are taught to be hateful. It doesnt make it any easier when you have a clown in office who takes every opportunity to put down other races and nationalities. We have to instill in our children that they are beautiful, they are smart , and most of all important. Dont let another day pass you by without having the conversation about racism with your children. They are never too young. Remember parents, you are your childs first teacher.

Bitch, College, and Crime: Brock Turner may have avoided real jail time, but a college textbook now uses him in their definition of rape so that's something because his home was mere blocks away- he couu man riding a motorcycle extraoedinarily slowly on a colkd night and d gain, he was arrested. What Chris falled to realize was that the change dr where he lived meant that even his fiest offense was to be treated as a Dui DU, he confronted much more severe consequences with harsher the rak of losing everything-his construction business, girlfriend, friends, cense- because of the zero-tolerance poliky now connected with o Rape Rape is another example of a crime that has sson in its definition over time. While crime and considered mala in se, how it has been has changed. For example, originally, the Fll carnal knowledge of a female forcibly and 2011, the FBI definition was changed to that are considered rape: "penetration, no matter the vagina or anus with a body part or object, tion by a sex organ of another person, without victim This change included boys and men as behavlor beyond the penetration of a vagina by a the FBI removed the word forcibly from this reflect contemporary understanding of this not necessarily involve force, but it does involve a such as when a person is unconscious. A recent example is that of rapist Brock Turner. Turner, a University, was caught in the act, and three felony charges: assault with intent to woman, sexually penetrating an intoxicated object, and sexually penetrating an unconscious p eign object. Turners victim was unconscious rape has Brock Tunet, a Scanford student who raped and assauted an unconscious female college student behind a dumpster at a fraternity party, was recenthy releused from jail after serving only three months. Some it happened behind a trash container outside are shocked at how short this sentence is.
