Anaconda, Christmas, and Memes: Toys R Us To Close All U.S. Stores; CEO Says There ls "Only Enough Money To Pay Employees For 60 Days" 13 @balleralert CLOSINGE LOCATION ONLY ENTAANCE noW 仴 Toys R Us To Close All U.S. Stores; CEO Says There Is “Only Enough Money To Pay Employees For 60 Days” - blogged by @worldwidekeege ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Toys R Us has been trying to save their business, but Thursday morning the CEO announced that they probably won’t even be able to pay their 33,000 employees past another 60 days. The company had began liquidating some of their 700+ stores in the U.S., hoping to be able to hold on to at least 400 of them, but soon realized they didn’t have the $50 to $100 million it would take to preserve the rest. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The iconic toy store chain is looking to sell all of its stores to the highest bidder before they all close down, but after a slowly sulking holiday season where the gift powerhouse didn’t even reach half of their projected sales for Christmas, a lot of investors may feel its too shaky to buy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Toys R Us has been trying to revamp the experience at their stores by including things like a play area where kids can try toys before they buy, but that didn’t boost sales the way they thought either. Unfortunately, we probably won’t be seeing much more of the toy store or its cousin, Babies R Us, in the United States after this summer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What was your favorite toy as a little kid?

Bad, Fail, and Goals: YOUR LIMITATIONS. F*ck that sh*t The only thing stopping you from reaching your goals and dreams are your limits. It’s when you meet your limits that you feel resistance and things you want seem harder to achieve. Whether it is fear, doubt, physical abilities or some other mental block, it can present a huge barrier to getting what you want. Unfortunately most people can’t work past their limits and give up. So how far you get in reaching your dreams is very dependent on how good you are at overcoming this obstacle. Fail to push past your limits and you’ll leave your dreams unrealized. - But don’t worry, I GOTCHA! Here are a few things you can do to say F*CK YOU to your limits: ✔️Find someone to help push you. ust that little bit of support encouraging you to keep going in the face of resistance can mean so much. Having someone on your side can counter-balance any negative thinking you might have. They can tell you to do more and push you into doing things outside of your comfort zone. ✔️Imagine reaching your next level. Working on your dreams or goals can take a lot of focus. Where you put that focus matters a lot. You might know where you are and where you were, but do you know where you need to go? Imagine that next level for reaching your dreams and take steps to get there. ✔️Inspire yourself to action. Find something that inspires you to reach your goals. Whether it is a video, quote or thought that inspires you to succeed, it should be something that fills you with passion and drive to get things done. Inspiration can be a powerful motivational tool. (One of my memes for example 😉) ✔️Work on your weaknesses. Where there are weaknesses, there are limits. Think about a marathon runner. They won’t be able to train very well for a marathon if they can’t find a good running stride or have bad nutrition. These are big areas of weakness that just makes training harder. Without correction, your weaknesses will limit how far you can take yourself. YOU’RE WELCOME! Let me know what you think in the comments below!👇 - 📷 credit to respective owner. - limits success millionairementor

However, the song does go down in history as the eighth song to hit number one after the death of a credited artist. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ The single became certified 5x Platinum by the RIAA with five million units sold in the United States. Drugs, Jail, and Memes: ethiopienne Pro-tip: white privilege doesn't mean white people have perfect lives. It means that white people do not have to deal with institutionalized, systemic racism in addition to their everyday problems. It means institutionalized, systemic racism does not cause white people's everyday problems. If your first reaction is to be angry and comment why this is wrong, take a deep breath, slowly read the post again and wait for the words to sink in. Think about what this is saying and try to deeply consider what this means, especially coming from someone who is not white. No one is saying white people have perfect lives, don't have problems, or even that there's no way they can be bullied-discrimanated against because of how they look. The difference is that racism isn't just a feeling or thought, it's INSTITUTIONALIZED and SYSTEMATIC, which means that you have laws (Jim Crow, housing discrimination, voter ID laws-voter discrimination, redlining), history, powerful figures, etc etc etc against you, not just individuals being rude to you. Yes you can be white and poor, you can be white and be bullied, you can be white and have problems. It's just that these problems are NOT reinforced by or due to a historic, systematic, institutional oppression based solely on your race-ethnicity. In the US for example, the country was built by white men with laws for white men. Over time, many of these laws have changed: ex. everyone has the legal right to vote now, slavery is illegal, Jim Crow laws no longer exist. Unfortunately, these laws don't just end; they evolve. All people can vote, yet voter ID laws disproportionately prevent people of color in poor communities from voting. Slavery is illegal, yet black men disproportionately fill jail cells and are exploited for their labor while privatized prisons profit off their incarceration (see: war on drugs, or "13th" on Netflix). I can list examples like those two all day, but the point is that people of color continue to face institutionalized, systematic racism that has legal & political backing and an entire history causing and justifying it. White people do not have to deal with that, hence the term "white privilege." And, again, no one is saying white people don't have problems. That's not what "white privilege" means.

If your first reaction is to be angry and comment why this is wrong, take a deep breath, slowly read the post again and wait for the words t...

Doctor, Family, and Life: Five-Year-Old Girl Dies After Doctor Turns Her Away For Being Late @balleralert HA day Five-Year-Old Girl Dies After Doctor Turns Her Away For Being Late - Blogged by: @RaquelHarrisTV ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Being late to a doctor’s appointment may cost you your life nowadays. At least it did for a 5-year-old girl who died from an asthma attack after an emergency doctor turned her away because she was late. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ellie-May Clark arrived at The Grange Clinic in Newport, South Wales on January 25, 2015, just five minutes after her 5 p.m. emergency appointment. Ellie May’s family waited in line and reached reception between 5:10 p.m and 5:18 p.m. Unfortunately, their arrival time broke the “10-minute” rule the office has for seeing late patients. The doctor rejected Ellie May and her mother, Shanice Clark, before going through Ellie-May’s records which showed the child had “life-threatening” asthma. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Later that day, Shanice put Ellie-May to bed around 8 p.m. but around 10:30p.m. she could hear her coughing and struggling to breathe. She came into the girl’s room room to find her face and hands had turned blue. Ellie-May was rushed to Royal Gwent Hospital, but died shortly after her arrival. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It is unclear if Ellie-May would’ve survived even if she had been seen by a physician. Regardless, Coroner Wendy James says “Ellie-May Clark died of natural causes where the opportunity to provide potentially life-saving treatment was missed.” James ruled Ellie-May died of natural causes but didn’t reach a neglect ruling for the doctor or hospital.

Arguing, Family, and Friends: Rap Pioneer Who Popularized Term 'Hip Hop,' Lovebug Starski Dies At 57 @balleralert Rap Pioneer Lovebug Starski, Who Popularized The Term ‘Hip Hop,’ Dies At 57 - blogged by @lanaladonna ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Kevin Smith, a DJ from the Bronx, and better known as LovebugStarski who coined the term “hip-hop,” unfortunately passed yesterday at age 57. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ RollingStone reports his death was caused by a heart attack he had in Las Vegas, where he recently relocated. Starski’s daughter, Tiffany Smith, confirmed the cause of death. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Starski was among a core group of DJ pioneers that include DJKoolHerc, AfrikaBambaataa, GrandmasterFlash and GrandWizardTheodore. Rolling Stone says they all helped shape hip-hop’s parameters in the days before recorded rap in the 1970s. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ DJ Grandmaster Flash told rolling stone what made Starski so different from the rest. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "What set him apart was he was able to DJ and talk on the mic and do both at the same time, and he was really really good at this," explained Flash. “He played an extremely important role in the development of this. We all do it now, talk on the mic and DJ same time, but in the hip-hop world, Starski was probably the first to handle it." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Some may argue that Keith “Cowboy” Wiggins of Grandmaster Flash and the FuriousFive introduced the word “hip-hop,” but Smith accepted credit for the term in an interview with Amoeba Music in 2017. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "That was one of my rhymes when I would get stuck for words and I used to go 'hip, hop, the hip, the hip, hip the hopping," he said. "You know it was just a nursery rhyme that coincided with the music, and that's the God's honest truth." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Condolences are sent to Smith’s family and friends. Salute to all “hip-hop” icons everywhere.

He Left You, Not His Kids -blogged by @peachkyss ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Children are such a blessing, especially when you share them with someone you love and care about. Although no one goes into a relationship and has children expecting to break up, unfortunately, it happens. Whether the break up was amicable or heartbreaking, the parents should try and be mature about the situation for the children. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Time and time again, we have either heard or seen some baby mommas use the hurt that they are feeling to get back at their ex. It’s not fair to the child to punish the father because you are upset that the relationship didn’t work out. You are not only hurting the father but you are hurting the child and it’s unfair. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are some great men out there that want to be in their child’s life. Don’t make the relationship harder than what it needs to be and end up having your child resent you later. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Regardless of how the two of you broke up, keep the children out of it. Put your feelings to the side and do what’s best for everyone.

Emanuel Zayas was diagnosed with polyostotic fibrous dysplasia, which reportedly replaces bones with fibrous tissue. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ At age 11, what physicians believed to be a pimple, turned out to be an ossifying fibroma- which has since grown into a 10-pound tumor. According to reports, the tumor began to affect Zayas’ breathing, as well as the bone structure of his face. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Although Cuban doctors refused to perform the risky surgery, a specialist at UHealth-University of Miami Health System offered his assistance. In turn, the family flew out to Miami, grateful to God that the specialist agreed to work on their son’s potentially fatal tumor. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, since then, the family has confirmed that Zayas has unfortunately passed in the wake of the 12-hour procedure. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "I am saddened by the fact that we are losing him and that the physiological stress of the surgery was apparently too much for his compromised anatomy," the chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery for the University of Miami Health System said in a statement to the Herald. "Our hopes of saving his life, and with that allowing him a better quality of life, were not realized." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Our condolences and prayers for Emanuel's family and the loss of a very brave young man," Marx said, according to NBC 6. "Another angel has arrived in heaven."
